1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The types of personal information we collect include:

- Document Data: Files you upload to our servers for processing.
- Usage Data: Information on how you interact with our services (e.g., features used, time spent).
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- To process your documents (uploaded files are only retained as long as necessary for processing or as defined by your account limits).
- To send you technical notices, updates, and security alerts.
- To respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests.
3. Anonymous Usage Analytics
To understand how visitors use our website and to improve our service, we collect anonymous usage analytics on public pages. This includes:
- Page visits and navigation paths — which pages are viewed and in what order, so we can identify what content is most useful.
- IP address — used solely to derive an approximate geographic location (country, region, city). The raw IP address is stored temporarily and is not linked to your account or used for any other purpose.
- Approximate location — resolved from your IP address via a third-party geolocation service. Only the resulting country, region, and city are retained; your precise location is never stored.
- Referrer and browser information — the URL that referred you to our site and a truncated user-agent string, used to understand traffic sources and browser compatibility.
No cookies are used for analytics. Our tracker makes a single fire-and-forget API call and does not set or read any browser cookies or local storage values.
Automatic data deletion. All visitor analytics records are automatically and permanently deleted after 90 days.
No third-party sharing. We do not sell, share, or transfer analytics data to any third party for advertising or profiling purposes. You may contact us at any time to request deletion of analytics data associated with your IP address.
4. Document Security & Retention
Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not look at your documents unless you explicitly request support assistance. For Free tier users, documents are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. For Pro and Enterprise users, documents are retained until you manually delete them or close your account.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data or document contents to third parties. We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers (like AWS for hosting or Stripe for billing) solely to provide our services. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this directly from your account settings.
